		<description>Thanks for this reflection. And I think you&#039;re right that we as educators have to create the communities. I think we have in some places. The classroom 2.0 ning is amazing, the network within twitter is growing by the day. Of course there is edublogs. A blogging platform of all kinds of educators and students. A true community created by educators. I do find that we as educators are disjointed. I think part of that is because schools are so different, yet so similar.

When it comes to giving our students an authentic audience we can&#039;t always choose where that is. YouTube is where the community is, there are others. Viddler.com is an up and coming video site, and schooltube.com just launched that could create an educational community. I think we have to remember we&#039;re just over 5000 days into the Internet....we still have a lot to figure out. :)
